About the Associations who own the event
MMIC
The Motorcycle and Moped Industry Council, originally founded in 1971, is a national, non-profit, trade association, which represents the responsible interests of the major motorcycle and scooter distributors, as well as the manufacturers, distributors and retail outlets of motorcycle and scooter related products and services, and individual owners and riders of motorcycles and scooters in Canada. The member companies of the MMIC account for over 95 percent of all the new motorcycles and scooters sold in Canada.
The MMIC is funded entirely by its members, affiliate members and by the programs and services it offers.
COHV
The Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council (COHV), formerly the Canadian All-Terrain Vehicle Distributors Council (CATV), originally founded in 1984, is a national, nonprofit, trade association representing the responsible interests of the major ATV and off-highway motorcycle manufacturers, distributors and retail outlets of OHV related products and services. The member companies of the COHV account for over 90 percent of all the new OHVs sold in Canada.
