Atlantic National Home Show 2013
The Atlantic National Home Show Update
The Atlantic National Home Show was held March 15-17, 2013 at Harbour Station and did not disappoint the thousands that attended this annual event.
This year’s show, as indicated by just about every exhibitor, proved to be one of the best years for actual sales, sales leads & appointment. Visitors were engaged, excited and planning their spring and summer renovation projects. It was evident the people came to the show to do business.
A pleasant observation was that visitors came earlier and were well prepared to do business as indicated by the lineup at the doors upon opening as well as the positive feedback from exhibitors.
A big thank you to the folks at DesignBy Dream Kitchens and the Window Shop! The daily prizes were great to keep the excitement going and to cap it off with the grand prize $10,000 kitchen renovation was fantastic!
The Winner of the Grand Prize $10,000 kitchen makeover was Peter Roche.
The winner of the $2000 window package was Muriel Marr.
The winner of the $3000 bathroom mini makeover was Sarah Dobbin.
The winner of the $5000 door system was Jenn Peters.
The 2013 features that were presented at the show were a huge hit with visitors. We would like to thank the folks at G.E. Barbour for presenting the King Cole Maritime Kitchen! Thank you to CBC for presenting Lunar Jim and a meet & Greet with their news team and of course for the UGLY Couch Contest in conjunction with Lounsbury’s Furniture Saint John. Congratulations to the winner Doug Boyer.
As always the Dairy Farmers of Canada welcomed a full house to their cheese seminars and instructed those in attendance how best to pair their favorite cheese with wine and beer!
Efficiency New Brunswick and other companies participating in that section were busy throughout the show giving out energy saving tips and helping home owners save energy and money!
The Home Builders & their showcase of builders welcome visitors to help them plan to build buy or renovate and the SPCA/Saint John Animal Rescue was well received and several cats found new homes during the course of the event.
Thank you to the friends of the home show and we are excited to be planning for the Atlantic National Home Show and the 2014 edition! Stay tuned for more details!
