Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic 2014
Nearly 10,000 Visitors Attend Inaugural Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic Show
Halifax, NS – Attendance at the first Motorcycle and Powersport Atlantic Show surpassed expectations with nearly 10,000 visitors. Held this past weekend, March 21-23, 2014, at Halifax’s Exhibition Park, the inaugural edition of this annual event was produced via a partnership between Master Promotions Ltd. and Bikerboy PowerSports Limited.
“We are thrilled with the success of the show and can’t wait for an even bigger and better 2015,” said Show Manager Scott Sprague. “It was a beautiful weekend weather-wise, and everyone was feeling optimistic that spring and motorcycle season is just around the corner!”
“I would like to thank Master Promotions Ltd. for keeping my vision alive as we grow into the future,” said Tim Leslie, Bikerboy PowerSports Ltd. “The Motorcycle and Powersport Atlantic Show was a great success!”
More than 70 exhibitors showcased over 250 motorcycles plus ATVs, UTVs, scooters, clothing, parts and accessories, clubs, rallies, and associations. Reports of strong sales and solid leads left exhibitors and visitors happy.
“The Motorcycle and Powersport Atlantic Show was a great event for us,” said Glen “Bic” Carew, Privateers Harley Davidson. “We had great retail traffic in merchandise and accessories and we generated a lot of buzz with our new Harley Davidson models. Exhibition Park is a perfect location – spacious and accommodating. Thanks to Scott and the crew from Master Promotions Ltd. on a great show; we are already looking forward to next year's event!”
“Our plan going into this show was to make it the greatest we’ve ever done, and it was!” said Mark Green, Freedom Cycle Inc. “The crowd was awesome and looking to buy so we sold a lot of units. At the end of the day, we do shows to make more customers for life, and we achieved our goal!”
“A motorcycle show like this one is a great way to kick off the riding season,” said Rob O’Brien, Pro Cycle. “The steady flow of motorcycle enthusiasts visiting our display throughout the weekend was a sure sign that spring is finally here!”
“As a local builder, this show was a great opportunity to showcase what we do and meet people that are into motorcycles, whether stock machines or total ground-up customs, like ours,” said Sean MacLennan, Sean’s Non-Stock Customs Ltd. “We had a great time and heard so much positive feedback. Finally there is a cool show in the spring that has something for everyone!”
