PEI Provincial Home Show 2013
Nearly Three Decades of Making a House a Home!
Spring Has Officially Sprung
The PEI Provincial Home Show truly does mark the beginning of spring as indicated by this weekend yearly home show.
Exhibitors indicated early on and throughout the show that the people who came, came to do business and were engaged and informed. Most exhibitors boasted that this year’s show was one of the best in the last 5 years with solid sales on the floor and firm leads to follow up on in the coming months.
From sales to bookings to arranging for quotes to be done, the 2013 PEI Provincial Home Show results surpassed the last several years as indicated by most exhibitors with visitor traffic steady on all three days of the event. This is very encouraging for the industry as a whole.
Exciting features that were rolled out this year created a buzz long before the event opened its doors and visitors were not left disappointed.
The meet and greet with CBC TV personalities and their mascots, cooking seminars from Chef Andrew Smith from the Red Shores Race Track & Casino and the Dairy Farmers of Canada Cheese tasting seminars entertained guests of all ages.
Congratulations to the winner of our door prizes which include:
Emily Waye-MacSwain – The Hot Tub Winner from Live for Today Pools, Spas and Saunas
Eric Kenny – The winner of the Ductless split heat pump from Atlantic Heating and Cooling Solutions
Darlene Knowles – Winner of the IPad Mini from the PEI Office of Energy Efficiency
Nicole Peters – Winner of the outdoor pondless kit from Island Grown Sod & Lanscaping.
Thank you to the Friends of the PEI Home Show program and all of our high caliber exhibitors who make this show the success it is, our sponsors, The Guardian Newspaper, The PEI Office of Energy Efficiency and Used PEI.Com. The PEI Provincial Home Show is proud to support the charities of choice “The PEI Special Olympic & Crime Stoppers” as a way of giving back to the communities that we serve.
People left the show extremely happy with the business they did and really value the face to face interaction with the Islands leading business people. Visitors made a point to mention this to our management on their way out and by email. We received more positive feedback this year than any other year at the home show and we are actively planning for 2014 and building on this success!
See you in 2014 for our 30 year Anniversary! Your Island. Your Home Show. Let’s Start Building
