The Area
The Valley and the QPlex is the perfect venue for this new concept! "The Valley" or "KV", as the lower Kennebecasis River valley is called by locals, has experienced dramatic population and business growth over the past several decades. Once a minor dormitory suburb of the Saint John area, the towns of the area constitute a large population centre with some major commercial development and the home of some of the rising stars of business. Make sure it includes you!

The Facts
Over 80,000 people are projected to reside in this area by 2012 including over 21,000 households with children which demonstrate the strong family ties that bind this community. The area boasts one of the largests household disposible incomes in Atlantic Canada. Several Schools are in the area, nature parks, public beaches, soccer fields and several other recreational facilities that make living and working in this area complete. This growing population is looking for these products and services that are available in their own backyard; the Valley Expo will showcase them all, in one place, for one exciting weekend!
The QPLEX
Owned and operated by the Town of Quispamsis, the qplex is a $24 million multi-purpose recreation and conference centre, located on Randy Jones Way between Meenans Cove Road and Vincent Road.
Almost instantly, the QPLEX has become the focal point in the community. This facility boasts an NHL-sized 200’ x 85’ ice surface, pool, and visitors can stroll along the Aquafina indoor walking track and grab a healthy snack at the Q-Stop canteen.
Four legged fans can also get a workout as the qplex boasts the one acre Homestar off-leash dog park, operational since the fall of 2009.
