Atlantic Motorcycle & ATV Show

The 3rd Annual Atlantic Motorcycle and ATV Show Roars out of Atlantic Canada a Success!!

The Producers of the Atlantic Motorcycle and ATV Show, Master Promotions Ltd. are pleased to report that the third edition of this exciting event definitely lived up to the hype and the buzz that was felt all over Atlantic Canada.

Exhibitors put on a display that could only be described as awesome, with some of the most well known names in the industry showcasing their newest motorcycles, ATV’s and related products. The gleam from the product line-up was described by some as blinding at times.

Move-In and Move-Out was seamless and went as scheduled.

Attendance Numbers: 13,314 over the three days.

The weather cooperated this year with a nice mild spell by our standards and the snow was kept at bay for the duration of the event except for a few flurries here and there. Traffic on all three days of the show was good and it was noted that the Friday of the show had a steadier flow than in years past. Saturday was excellent for weather and traffic and the Coliseum had a steady flow all day. Many people celebrated Valentines day on Saturday night so our ladies night promotion was particularly important this year with 677 couples taking advantage of the BOGO admission from 5-9 p.m.

Media coverage was extensive for this event with the show being placed on the front page of the Times and Transcript daily and several full-page spreads were also done in other sections. The Press conference was held on-site at 12 noon on Friday and was attended very well with representatives on-site from CBC television and radio, The Times and Transcript, C103, CJSE and News 91-9 as well as several motorcycle website webmasters who promoted the event on a regular basis via their forums and on several social networking forums along with our own efforts which provided some very positive feedback on the event in the past and this edition as well. Dakar finisher, Patrick Trahan, was a huge draw for the media, French and English alike and he was gracious and provided great entertainment on the seminar stage.

The Yamaha Riding Academy was a big hit as always and it makes the show more of a family affair. A tip of the helmet to Clinton Smout for doing this and ushering in the next generation safely to this great sport.

The NBATV Seminar stage was well attended and the move of the stage to the show floor from the upstairs restaurant was viewed as positive and gave the stage and the seminars more visibility. Frank Wood, the stage MC, once again did a great job keeping it organised and the audience entertained. The seminars were very relevant this year and was a good mix for ATVers and Motorcyclists alike.

Motovan and Extreme provided an awesome doorprize again this year and we would like to congratulate Jessica Gauvin and William Orr who each won an Extreme Off Road Riding Gear set from Motovan.

We now look forward to next years show which is scheduled for February 11-13, 2011 and wish everyone continued success!
