INTERSAW-LOGFOR SHOW COMBINATION ENJOYS SUCCESS
Three hot days in early September didn't keep the industry attendees away from the InterSaw-LOGFOR show. Over the course of the three days, 5222 people visited the combined show. Many thanks are due to the Exhibitors who chose to support this event during a very challenging time in the forestry industry. Their support was rewarded by the number of visitors who made the effort to visit the show and although sales may not have been as high as in previous years, we are hearing a number of successful reports about business being completed on the show floor.
All eyes now turn to the Maritimes where two major events will take place in 2008. First on April 3-4, the very successful Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show returns to Moncton with another sold out show. The fall will mark the first time the live forestry show, Demo International, will take place east of Quebec. Ledwidge Lumber will play host to this huge event, just outside of Halifax on September 18-20. Visit www.ahes.ca and www.demointernational.com for more info about these prestigious events.
