Master Promotions Ltd. to Launch Exciting New Event in Moncton, New Brunswick

Moncton, NB – Canada’s largest independent trade and consumer event management company, Master Promotions Ltd, is excited to roll out an exciting new event that will take place in Moncton, New Brunswick on April 16 – 18, 2010; Joie de Vivre, Celebrating the Maritime Lifestyle.

 

La Joie de Vivre is designed to highlight what is relevant in the lives of New Brunswicker’s. From Home building and renovation products, landscape and gardening, home and cottage plus focusing on New Brunswick’s unique culture; our food, cooking, music family and New Brunswick traditions!

 

Given that Moncton and the surrounding area is blessed with a unique variety of culture and is strategically located makes this venue perfect for all to see and take in the Joie de Vivre that is unique to this area.

 

New Brunswick Flavours This unique section will celebrate the provinces diverse culture groups, from the loyalist, to the Acadians, and kitchen parties complete with fiddle music! Cooking, recipes, community events, music, Acadian celebration in a festival like environment! Add some Joie de Vivre to the mix, and you have the makings of a truly unique Maritime experience. 

 

Dairy Farmers of Canada During the three-day event, the group will be presenting several seminars. They will speak about how best to pair your wine and cheese or even beer with cheese! Jon them in tasting and learning about your sensory reaction to several cheeses.

 

The Kiwanis Family Show Sure to be one of our most popular features is the family show. This portion of the show displays exhibits pertaining to sports, fitness, entertainment, recreation, staycation destinations, financial and retirement planning, anything and everything to do with the “joie de vivre” in New Brunswick!

 

This is just a sampling of what will be offered at the Moncton Coliseum for this exciting new event! We will have an extensive Home & Cottage section as well as Green Home and Landscaping, but adding the cultural aspect to the show will fill a niche that we feel is a long-time coming and will be well embraced in the province of New Brunswick, Canada’s only bilingual province,” explains Show Manager Brian Mckiel.

 

Sponsoring this new venture is L’Acadie Nouvelle. L'Acadie Nouvelle is an independent French newspaper published in Caraquet since June 6, 1984. It is published from Monday through Saturday and is the only French-language newspaper published in New Brunswick.

Cheese Grand Prix Jurist to Host Dairy Farmer’s of Canada Seminars at the Joie de Vivre

 

During the three-day event, the group will be presenting 12 separate bilingual seminars hosted by resident New Brunswicker Phil Belanger.

He has been a jury member of the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix since 1998 and he is Chairman of the New Brunswick Chapter of La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

 

Mr. Belanger will speak in French and English about how best to pair your wine and cheese or even beer with cheese!

Tips will also be offered on how best to store different types of cheese and visitors will be shown the differences between soft, semi-soft and hard cheeses.

Join him in tasting and learning about your sensory reaction to several cheeses.

 

The Dairy Farmers of Canada are also representing different producers of cheese, some local and some international, and they will have samples on hand of upwards of 25 different types of cheese!

The New Brunswick Chapter has experienced continued growth and success throughout the entire province. Since our inception in 1987, we have granted over 520 wishes to children in our province!

 

Our Chapter’s provincial office is located in Saint John and employs two full-time staff and one part-time staff. We rely heavily on a number of dedicated volunteers throughout New Brunswick who assist in fundraising, wish granting and increasing the awareness about our Foundation in their local communities.
