The 26th edition of the PEI Provincial Home Show Promises to be a huge success!
Attendance numbers in 2009 were up significantly, and visitors to the show commented about the high caliber and extensive array of exhibitors that filled the Charlottetown Civic Centre to capacity! Make sure it includes you for 2010!
Coming off a booming 2009, thanks in part to the strong Atlantic Canada economy and the Home Renovation Tax Credit, 2010 is shaping up to be just as prosperous for those in the homebuilding and renovation industry! According to Canada Mortgage and Housing’s latest outlook, housing starts are scheduled to rise in 2010!
The housing sector is expected to show positive growth in 2010, as consumers continue to take advantage of the favorable interest rate environment and a recovery begins to take hold, due in part to additional fiscal and monetary stimulus.

Survey Says
Our on-site survey once again indicated that nearly 62% of our visitors plan on building, renovating or landscaping their home within the next year. Renovation and landscaping products were high on their list of expectations as well as many looking to see Garden and Patio items. This is the venue that Prince Edward Island homeowners and potential homeowners will come to research their next home-based project! The PEI Provincial Home Show will not disappoint!

Community Partnerships
The owners of the PEI Provincial Home Show are pleased to announce their partnership with the Special Olympics Chapter of Prince Edward Island. We are pleased to offer a portion of proceeds from this event to this worthwhile organization to aid in the wonderful work they do.
Special Olympics PEI (SOPEI) is a non profit organization dedicated to providing sports programs and opportunities to Islanders with intellectual disabilities.
SOPEI stands as a leader in the field of sport for those with intellectual disabilities. Here in Prince Edward Island, there are over 340 athletes training and competing in Special Olympics programs in communities across the Island. Over 100 Special Olympics PEI volunteers bring to life 40 year-round community sports programs.
The opportunity to compete in sport provides individuals with intellectual disabilities more than just the physical benefits of improved health and athletic ability. Participating in Special Olympics programs gives athletes the chance to cultivate friendships, further develop social skills, strive for and achieve goals and increase their self esteem, enabling Special Olympics PEI athletes to win in sport, and in life.

The PEI Crime Stoppers are pleased to be a part of the PEI Provincial Home Show!
PEI Crime Stoppers was incorporated as a registered charity in 1988 and started operation on January 4, 1989. Police services across the Island enthusiastically support Crime Stoppers as do government agencies with enforcement responsibilities. The Co-coordinator is responsible for the tips line, media release, liaising with the Board of Directors and maintaining a rapport with enforcement agencies. The community component (The Board) is responsible for program policy, fund-raising, promotions, development of short and long-term planning and keeping financial records. The media donate their time, space and professional opinion on the creation and placement of "unsolved crime" stories such as the "Crime of the Week".
