For the third consecutive year, Think NB will provide the venue for New Brunswick to show the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) community the leaps and bounds being made by its homegrown firms. The 2010 edition of this event will take place October 27 and 28 in Saint John.
Think NB will once again be held in conjunction with the New Brunswick Innovation Forum, which is hosted by the National Research Council of Canada. The second annual forum is dubbed the New Brunswick Innovation Forum 2009: Your Fast Track to IT Opportunities. The two-day event offers a venue for innovative companies, investors, scientists and researchers to find each other so that more New Brunswick innovations can reach the marketplace. Think NB organizers are pleased that this partnership with the NRC has evolved into this combined event, making this venue the ‘must attend’ ICT event of the region.
Think NB is the only ICT exposition of its kind in the Maritimes where ICT firms come together to prospect, partner, collaborate, invest and recruit. The event is organized by Master Promotions Ltd., one of Canada’s largest event management companies, in partnership with the Think NB Steering Committee. The committee is comprised of several executives from the ICT field, of which Show Manager, Ron Lockhart, speaks very highly.
“It has been a privilege to work with this committee, which compromises some of the most influential ICT individuals in the province of New Brunswick,” said Lockhart.
“We have some of the provinces brightest minds at this year’s event. We are proud to present New Brunswick’s best ICT companies to attendees who will learn what leading edge technology is available from these New Brunswick based companies.”
This unique event will provide a platform for networking among some of the brightest stars in the world ICT community, and will allow them to showcase their latest innovative developments.
Think NB will host an exclusive evening of networking for exhibitors, invited guests and media from 4pm until 7pm on Tuesday, October 27.
The showcase will be open to the media and the public for one day only on Wednesday, October 28 from 9am until 4pm.
