Mississauga, ON - The Canadian International Farm Show (CIFS) is pleased to once again honor the Producer of the Year with awards at the 2010 edition of the CIFS. Our goal is to recognize excellence in farm operations or any sort of Agribusiness.
It is our hope that the said individual, group or Agribusiness will have contributed to the betterment of the industry, by showing innovation, new product development, demonstrates a commitment to the environment, or just demonstrates great management practices.
Nominees will be for three categories, which will include a winner in the small producer category, which is up to 5 employees, the medium producer, which is more than 5 and less than 15, and finally the large producer, which is a producer that has 16 or more employees.
Nomination forms can be filled out online at www.canadianfarmshow.ca. Just click on the box that says Producer of the Year Award. For your convenience, a printable version is also available.
Nominations will be accepted until December 11, 2010
Nominees must reside in the province of Ontario to be considered for this prestigious award. The awards for each category will be presented at the Industry Reception on February 17, 2010 as part of the CIFS festivities.
