Halifax, Nova Scotia – The producers of the Halifax International Boat Show are pleased to announce they are well on their way to a sold out show! The excitement is continuing to build for this must attend industry event that will take place at Exhibition Park in Halifax on February 18 – 21, 2010.
The complex will be jam packed with the latest models and styles from the leading boat and marine equipment dealers from around the Maritimes. For nearly four decades, this show has not disappointed.
Show Manager Scott Sprague is pleased with the direction that the show is headed for 2010.
“We are very pleased that many of the major players have come to the table in a big way and our bulk space is nearly sold out” says Sprague.
“Even during these economic slowdowns, Atlantic Canadians are looking for affordable fun and recreation. Boating and water sports still tops that list for many.”
“Dealers are aware of this, and most realize that a trade show is the best medium to meet their customers face to face,” explained Sprague.
Halifax is bucking the trend and Sprague said the trend is continuing with all of the recreation shows in this area. “Eastern Canada has not been affected by the recent economic slow down to the magnitude as other parts of the county and it shows by the feedback we are getting from our exhibitors from our RV shows, the Atlantic Motorcycle and ATV Show and our other Boat Shows in New Brunswick,” explains Sprague.
