Nova Scotia Hunting & Outdoor Show 2016
Nova Scotia’s Only Fall Hunting Show Back with a Bang
Truro, NS – The Nova Scotia Hunting & Outdoor Show returned to the RECC in Truro this past weekend, September 9th to 11th. After taking a hiatus in 2015, excitement was high for the show’s return… there’s not a more anticipated event for recreational outdoor activities in the region!
This year’s show had a great lineup of exhibitors, big promotions and show-only specials, and exciting features including archery demos, hunting experts, big game displays and scoring. All of the features were very well received.
Attendance was fairly steady at this year’s show – aside from a dip on Saturday because of the beautiful weather. Even so, the number of visitors was roughly on par with previous editions of the show.
"Sales were strong and we’ve heard good reports from exhibitors,” said Scott Sprague, Show Manager. “We had lots of hunters stopping by the show throughout the weekend, getting geared up and expressing their excitement for the start of hunting season next Monday!”
Thanks to all of our fantastic exhibitors – including the following who organized features that helped make this year’s show so great:
- Iron Wind Marine
- Lequille Country Store
- Nova Tactical
- Women That Hunt
- The Big Game Society of Nova Scotia
- Hollis Ford
- J.W. Mason
- Doindogs Kennels
