Spring Ideal Home Show
Attendance was steady right from the get go and a brisk chill on Saturday made attendance particularly stellar! As usual, exhibitors pulled out all the stops and brought out their best products, specials and displays for homeowners to enjoy. Landscape Nova Scotia packed the wing building with garden & patio exhibitors. Special guest Niki Jabbour – The Weekend Gardener - was so popular, we’re going to have to open up a larger space for her next time.
Event sponsors the Chronicle Herald did a great job of promoting the event and publishing a top-drawer showguide and Kool FM and Q104 paired up to bring us a terrific pair of contests with Atlantic Kitchen Refacing/Canterbury Kitchens and Archadeck. Cathy MacKinnon won the deck from Archadeck worth over $7000.00 and Robin Smith came away with a Kool $6500.00 Kitchen Reface from Atlantic Kitchen Refacing.
Re/Max, event sponsors wowed the audience with a huge “Fit to Buy Fit to Sell” display. They invited visitors to enjoy a delicious glass of Jackson Triggs Wine, The Dairy Farmers of Canada paired it with tasty cheese and all visitors were encouraged to enter to win terrific Kitchenaid appliances by visiting the fit to sell or fit to buy websites.
As always, we welcomed our friends at the Military Family Resource Centre, who once again hosted the swag bag program for the Canadian Armed Forces.
