Wood Week Delivers a Qualified Audience
The producers of Canada’s newest forestry event are pleased to declare the inauguration of Wood Week a success.
Nearly five thousand visitors flocked to the Centre de foires to view the latest offerings from some of the leaders of the forestry industry. Many commented that having a forestry show that showcased all aspects of the industry was both refreshing and convenient.
The buzz about the rebirth of the industry was positive. Seminar attendees were pleased with the thought provoking and relevant topics that were presented at the accompanying conference. Several renowned speakers delivered their thoughts and insights on this thriving industry.
The tradeshow floor highlighted exhibitors showcasing the latest technology products and services available to the industry and both the VIP reception and industry dinner were well attended.
Organizers would like to recognize the invaluable support of the Conseil de l’industrie forestiere du Quebec, Universite Laval, FPInnovations, PREfoRT, Association Canadienne des distributeurs d’equipement, Bureau du forestier en chef and the Centre de formation en transport de Charlesbourg.
